I grew up in Wallington, NJ - a small, one square mile town about 15 miles south of Tenafly. During the time I attended grade school I only received arts and crafts from my classroom teachers. When I entered the Junior/Senior High School I was fortunate enough to meet the art teacher who inspired me to become an art teacher. It was in her artroom that I found my ability, skill and passion for the arts. My decision to become an art teacher was to have the opportunity to "pay it forward". I graduated from Montclair State University in 2010 with a bachelors degree in Fine Arts Education and was the 2010 Distinguished Fine Arts Educator Recipient. My goal every year is to foster a welcoming atmosphere where all of our Stillman students are encouraged to explore, imagine and create. This year will be my 13th year teaching and my 8th year here at Stillman School. This will also be my 6th year as the Stillman Student Council Advisor.
I look forward to working with each of your children as we learn, create, and talk about art!
