The School Business Administrator/Board Secretary strives to achieve district goals for pupils by providing leadership and supervision in the district program of fiscal management and in other assigned programs, and by acting as a proper model for staff and pupils both in and outside the school district. 

The Tenafly Public School District prepares an annual budget for consideration and review each March. The budget is presented at a Public Hearing between March and May.  All interested residents are encouraged to attend this meeting to ask questions pertaining to the budget. Following the input, the Board of Education votes to approve the budget, submitting it to the New Jersey Department of Education.

The Tenafly Public School Board of Education no longer holds the April School Board and Budget Election, unless it needs to exceed the budget cap as directed the State of New Jersey.
