COVID-19 Update
For recommendations from Tenafly Public Schools: COVID-19 Update Sept 2023
If you test positive for COVID-19, please be advised that there are currently no set mandates to follow with regard to isolation time/days. If you are sick, you are encouraged to stay home.
For those who test positive for COVID-19, you may consider the latest NJ Dept. of Health recommendations which include:
Stay home for at least 5 full days after the onset of symptoms or if asymptomatic after the positive test
If you have no symptoms or symptoms are resolving after 5 days and are fever-free (without the use of fever-reducing medication) for 24 hours, you can return to work/school
Wear a mask when around others at home and in public for an additional 5 days (including participation in any extracurricular activities).
For the most up-to-date (August 31, 2023) recommendations from the NJ Department of Health, visit: Guidance for K-12, Childcare and Youth Camps
