THS Student Named Regeneron STS Scholar
SUBIN (CINDY) PYO was announced among the top 300 scholars in the Regeneron Science Talent Search 2024, the nation’s oldest and most prestigious science and math competition for high school seniors. The 300 scholars will be awarded $2,000 each and their schools will be awarded $2,000 for each enrolled scholar. See the full press release HERE
Cindy's research project is on "Metabolic Program of Intestinal Stem Cell in Pediatric Development and Inflammatory Bowel Disease". She was also an author in a book chapter titled "Modeling Notch Activity and Lineage Decisions Using Intestinal Organoids" published in the journal Intestinal Differentiated Cells: Methods and Protocols, by Springer Nature (July 2023).
