Welcome to the 2021-2022 school year! I trust that your time away from school has been enjoyable, renewing, and adventurous. We are so excited to have all students back to in-person school this year.

One of my priorities is to support the Tenafly Public Schools by ensuring that our students are engaged in meaningful and challenging learning experiences from kindergarten through 12th grade while aligning to the New Jersey Student Learning Standards. We are fully dedicated to helping our students thrive academically, socially, and emotionally.

The curriculum in Tenafly Public Schools is rich and varied, and we know that effective teaching depends on challenging curriculum, responsive instruction, and informative assessment. We will continue to embed critical thinking and collaboration across all content areas, work diligently to meet the diverse needs of our students, and emphasize meaningful, timely feedback to help students work towards academic mastery.

At Tenafly Public Schools, our commitment to developing a broad range of instructional techniques is a crucial part of our program, incorporating both existing and emerging technologies as appropriate to address the needs of all students. We are committed to continually developing our curriculum and approaches to best reach and successfully teach every student.

Together, we can make this the best school year yet, by making sure your children are in the classroom, focused on learning, and celebrating success along the way. When our students succeed, we all succeed because of the contributions young minds can make to society and the communities in which they live. I wish everyone a year filled with academic achievements and positive memorable experiences, while taking in all that the Tenafly School District has to offer. I truly look forward to an exciting and enriching school year!
