MEET THE TEACHER

Hi! My name is Ms. Carol Lee and I am so excited to be part of the fourth grade team!  More importantly, I am THRILLED to be your teacher!  It’s going to be a fun year full of lots of learning and new adventures and I can’t wait to see what the year has in store for us.  I want to know ALL about you, but first I’m going to tell you a few things about me. 

I was born in Philadelphia, but I grew up in Seoul, Korea.  I am the oldest of three.  I have one younger sister, Cathy, and one younger brother, Jason.  When I graduated from an international high school in Korea, I went to Syracuse University to study education.  I majored in elementary and special education.  I then went to Teachers College, Columbia University to get my Master’s degree as a reading specialist.  I also received my Orton-Gillingham (phonics) certification through Fairleigh Dickinson.  Yes, I have been studying for a long time and I continue to learn every day!   

I am so excited to be your “Director” and for you to be part of this AWESOME, all start “cast” we have lined up for 4L.  This is going to be a BLOCKBUSTER year!
