I am thrilled to be a part of the fifth grade team at Smith School again this year!  This is my eighth year here in Tenafly and I have an additional eight years of classroom teaching experience in Bergen County.  Although we can all agree that this will be a school year filled with many uncertanties,  I remain positive and I am looking forward to an exciting, productive year working with you and your child.  I am dedicated to doing everything I can to ensure the behavioral, academic, and social success of each and every one of my students.  I am also committed to the importance of parent involvement in a student's education.  I firmly believe that a child receives the best education possible when parents and teachers work as a team.  Please feel free to reach out to me with any questions or concerns you may have.  The best way to contact me is via email at cmatuszewski@tenafly.k12.nj.us
