Welcome to 3S!

My name is Janel Sipala and I am excited to be teaching in a third grade classroom this school year!

I attended Muhlenberg College in Allentown, PA and earned a BA in Dance along with my Elementary Education Certification. I have been working at Maugham Elementary as a paraprofessional since 2015. I previously taught at the Ethical Community Charter School in Jersey City, where I held the positions of Basic Skills Instructor of Language Arts and Mathematics and Basic Skills Coordinator.

When I began my journey here at Maugham, I also opened my own dance studio, Janel's Dance Arts Fusion, which is located in Woodcliff Lake. I love being able to share my passion for dance with my students.

I am beyond thrilled to be working with everyone this school year and look forward to creating some wonderful memories with the students!
