Dear Tenafly Community,

My name is Mrs. Canovic and I am so excited for the new school year! I have previously taught a wide variety of grade levels and subject areas ranging from grades K-8. Teaching is a passion of mine. It is something I have always wanted to do in order to make a positive impact on the world. I believe that, as a teacher, it is important to strive to make a difference in each of my students’ lives. One way that I do this is by cultivating positive teacher-student relationships and getting to know each one as an individual in order to incorporate different learning styles into every lesson. It is my goal to assist my students in reaching academic success. 

I believe that the partnership between a parent and teacher is essential for student success! I communicate with parents regularly to discuss student progress, concerns, and to update parents on current and upcoming assessments and long term projects.
