Welcome Students and Parents!

Thank you for visiting my page. I am so excited about starting this school year with you. My name is Amanda Brown and I graduated from Ramapo College in 2013 and I have just finished my Master's degree in education this past May of 2022!  Currently, I am entering my 8th school year as an educator and my 4th year with Tenafly.  For the 2022-2023 school year I will teach study skills as well as  biology and European history with my amazing co-teachers. 

I am available for extra help for students before, during and after school by appointment, as I encourage students to self-advocate for themselves.  Students should email me, or speak to me in class to set up an appointment before they need help so we can plan accordingly, especially prior to a test. The best way to communicate with me is through my email and office telephone. I look forward to working with you and your child this year and please do not hesitate to ask me questions or just reach out to check in about your child.
