Since 2004, Ms. Mach has enjoyed teaching people of all ages all over the world! After graduating from Rutgers University with a B.S. in Animal Science, Ms. Mach traveled to Chiba, Japan where she taught English to Japanese children, businessmen, housewives and grandmothers for two years. When she returned to the United States in 2006, Ms. Mach taught English at her local Salvation Army to adults who immigrated from South America. Realizing that she enjoyed teaching, she's since earned her teaching certificate and Master's Degree from St. Peter's College in Jersey City. She is now highly qualified to teach science in grades K through 12. So far, she has taught life science, physics and chemistry to middle and high school school students in Kearny, Union City and Tenafly Public Schools. Even though she loves teaching people of all ages, she loves middle school students the best.
When Ms. Mach isn't teaching, she loves to read, go hiking, travel to new places, and play soccer in Montclair. Never one to pass up a good sale, you can often find her shopping at outlet malls, consignment shops, and yard sales during the weekend. In the future, she hopes to earn a second Master's Degree in social work, become a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and have a private mental health practice.
