Welcome new 6th grade students and parents!  I am Mrs. Sleece and I will be a 6th Grade Literacy teacher this year at T.M.S.  This is my 13th year teaching and my 7th year here at TMS.  I graduated from Saint Joseph’s University (The Hawk will never die!) with an undergraduate degree in Elementary and Special Education, with a minor in Spanish, and a graduate degree as a Reading Specialist.  During my third year at Saint Joe's, I spent a semester studying abroad at Saint Louis University in Madrid, Spain.  A few years ago, I completed a scholarship program through Fairleigh Dickinson University to receive certification as a teacher of Orton Gillingham.

I cannot wait to get to know each of you (and your families) and for you to learn more about me too!  I KNOW we are going to have a successful, positive, and FUN year together at T.M.S.
