Degrees and Certifications:

Mrs. Maloney

Welcome to the profile page of Mrs. Maloney, English teacher at Tenafly High School.

I have worked in Tenafly since 1991 and started my education career in 1988. Across my years at Tenafly, I have taught grades 9-12 (all levels) and have served as an advisor of various activities, including yearbook (8 years), Virtual High School (7 years), and The ECHO (8 years). I have also been involved in numerous other roles within the school and district.

I attended Duke University (undergraduate degree) and William Paterson University (graduate degree). Beyond my master's degree in English, I have received an additional 70 graduate credits in literature, writing, and education. Along with teaching certifications in elementary and English education, I also hold certifications as a supervisor and principal.

During the first semester of the 2019-2020 school year, I will be on a sabbatical leave of absence. In my place, Mr. Timothy Callahan will teach World Literature II CPA,  A.P. Literature and Composition, and Creative Writing CPA & Honors (combined).

Information about homework and other assignments can be found in Google Classroom.

Best wishes for a productive and enjoyable school year.
