Speech and language therapy services are conducted within an individual or small group setting. Most of these services take place in the speech and language office; however, strategies and techniques are infused into the preschool classroom.

Class Expectations

Student expectations include: (1) practicing "good" speech behaviors at least within the therapy sessions and eventually in all environments  (2) practicing speech and language skills at home;  (3) completing assignements sent home for additional practice

Parent expectations include: (1) supporting the efforts of the Speech Therapists at home; (2) and to practice and reinforce "good" speaking habits with their child every day; (3) reminding their children to complete any speech assignments sent home.
