I have been working at Stillman School since 2001. Teaching is a second career for me. Previously, I was a Registered Nurse, and worked in the operating room at Englewood Hospital. I became interested in how children learn to read when my own children were young. I earned a Masters Degree as a Reading Specialist from Teachers College, Columbia University, and am now a certified Special Education teacher and Reading Specialist.
