I have been teaching at Walter Stillman School for twenty-four years. I have taught kindergarten, first, second, third, and fourth grade. Now, I am back in second!
I graduated from Syracuse University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Elementary and Special Education. I have dual certification in both areas.
In addition, I earned a Master of Reading from Montclair State University with additional graduate credits in special education and technology.
In 2004-2005 and 2016-2017, I was selected as Stillman School Teacher of the Year. In 2015, I was awarded the Girl Scout Volunteer Excellence Award for my work as a Girl Scout troop leader and my service to the community.
