  • Welcome to a new year at Tenafly High School!  This year, I will be teaching 10th Grade World Literature II and 11th Grade AP Language and Composition, as well as serving as advisor for the publication of the Tenakin yearbook.  Throughout the year I look forward to reading, writing, and thinking together, and growing both as a class and as our own individual selves.

Ms. Lucine Z. Kinoian

I went to college at Rutgers University, where I studied Comparative Literature and Philosophy.  Not long after college, my passion for literature led me to pursue a master's degree in English Education from Columbia University's Teachers College.  I strongly believe that through an English and literary education students can develop the attributes needed to be open-minded, lifelong learners who live meaningfully and add value to the world at large.  
 
The 2021-2022 school year will be my seventh year teaching in Tenafly.
