This year at Mackay, we have started a new initiative of being Mackay Champions.  Mackay Champions are students who share these qualities: being respectful, kind, responsible, honest, and able to collaborate with others. Throughout the school year, I will teach character education lessons on the importance of each quality.

Every couple of months, I will ask teachers and staff members to give me the name of one student who truly exhibits a Mackay Champion quality.
