TMS Creating Connections Group
The Care Plus psychoeducational Creating Connections Group, facilitated by CPNJ Clinician Mackenzie Kuhl, LSW, will provide students a safe pace to maximize social interaction opportunities that will build self-confidence through creating meaningful connections. In the group, students will work to gain self-monitoring skills, enhance appropriate responses to social situations, and relate to others through cooperative activities, games, and discussion with their peers.
This group will run for seven weeks on Mondays beginning on January 9th:
- Grades 7 & 8 during lunch/recess periods
- Grade 6, after school, 3-3:45pm
The program will be held in person at Tenafly Middle School. Students are expected to follow all school rules and regulations.
Space is limited. Due to limited space in each group, it is not guaranteed for your child to be automatically placed in the group with the submission of the sign-up form. Students that register after the group reaches maximum capacity will be notified.
Please register by submitting the sign up form no later than January 6, 2023.
