Contact Tracing for Masked students

  • Masked students within 6ft of a COVID-affected individual (who was also masked) are not required to isolate/quarantine unless symptoms develop.  Only the adults within 6ft are required to quarantine.

    Contact Tracing and Notification:

Exception to close contact in K-12 classroom only - In the K–12 indoor classroom setting, the close contact definition excludes students who were within 3 to 6-feet of an infected student (laboratory-confirmed or a clinically compatible illness) where both the infected student and the exposed student(s) correctly and consistently wore well-fitting masks the entire time. This exception does not apply to teachers, staff, or other adults in the indoor classroom setting. Students within 3 to 6-feet of an infected student should still monitor for symptoms for 14 days after exposure.

Thank you for your patience. Links to some virtual classrooms may not be available and, where available, the link may not be shared until the next school day. This enables the proper records, communications, and contact tracing that must precede the virtual access to be completed accurately.
