HOMEWORK POLICY
- Most weeks we will assign nightly silent reading, nightly or weekly writing, weekly Scope magazine, weekly word study. Occasionally, students will receive Social Studies homework. *Students will get Spanish homework.
- Students write homework in their planners. Many assignments are posted on Google Classroom.
- Late assignments earn lower grades and this may be reflected on the student's report card. If your child needs more time, please encourage him/her to speak with us so that we can make a reasonable arrangement.
- Students are required to correct homework and classwork when assigned. We regularly return incomplete or incorrect assignments for improvement.
***MISSING RECESS-If HW becomes consistently late, then students will complete during our class extra recess. This is to ensure that the student does not fall behind in their studies because if we assign it, it has value!
