    • Demonstrate the ability to communicate effectively in English, both orally and in writing, using proper grammar and vocabulary
    • Possess excellent organizational and interpersonal skills with attention to detail
    • Provide evidence that a criminal history record check has been conducted and clearance has been given by the NJ Department of Education (NJDOE) in accordance with the law.

     REPORTS TO:     Assistant Superintendent of Curriculum and Instruction

     JOB GOAL:         

    The Executive Secretary to the Assistant Superintendent of Curriculum and Instruction assists the Assistant Superintendent of Curriculum and Instruction by carrying out the duties of the office to the benefit of the district’s curriculum program and also serves as alternative clerical support to the Superintendent’s Office.

     PERFORMANCE RESPONSIBLITIES:

     Keep confidential all correspondence, reports and other documents related to the district’s curriculum program.

    1. Provides courteous assistance when answering phone calls and when responding personally to staff, students, parents, community members, and business representatives.
    2. Maintains effective and confidential working relationships with the administrative team and Board of Education.
    3. Works cooperatively with other members of other departments as needed and serves as an alternative clerical support person to the Superintendent’s Office.
    4. Prepare State Reports for the Curriculum and Instruction Office:

     TERM OF EMPLOYMENT:             Twelve month, non-bargaining unit position
