    *AP Literature and Composition Inquiry and Action Fair on June 8 2018 hosted by Ms. Dana Maloney.

     

    *The Tenafly High School English and Social Studies departments hosted Pulitzer-Prize winning poet Dr. Peter Balakian on Friday, May 11. Dr. Balakian conducted seminars with the sophomore Humanities students and presented a poetry reading to English classes in the Lalor Library Media Center.     *Ms. Dana Maloney presented at the 2017 National Council of Teachers of English Convention in St. Louis, Missouri as a member of the panel "Reaching Every Writer and Keeping Writers in Motion: "Yes, You CAN Write!"  

     

    *Upon hearing that Harper Lee's To Kill a Mockingbird was banned in Biloxi, Mississippi, Ms. Lauren Malanka, student Emily Matteson, and AP Language and Composition students inspired change with their words.
