    About the Teacher: 

    Hello! My name is Mrs. Samara Avanzato. This is my sixth year teaching at Tenafly Middle School. I attended the University of Delaware where I received my Bachelor’s of Science in Elementary and Special Education and my Master’s of Education in Autism and Severe Disabilities. I was recently married and welcomed a son into my family! I love spending time with my family! We are a big football fan-family - GO JETS! I am a member of the 6th grade Navy team where I will be teaching Study Skills as well as Math, Science, Language Arts, and Social Studies. I am excited to get to know you this year!
