Welcome to Digital Art!

I am looking forward to meeting you and excited to begin my third year teaching at Tenafly Middle School. This is my tenth year as an artist/educator. Before becoming an art teacher, I worked as a professional graphic designer. I hold a BFA from the School of Visual Arts and an AAS from the Fashion Institute of Technology. When I am not teaching, you will find me spending time with my family, visiting museums, cycling, enjoying the outdoors and practicing yoga.

In our digital art class we will learn and practice fundamental design thinking, drawing and problem solving skills, integrating both digital and traditional media. Please come to class prepared to work hard, be successful, express your individuality, appreciate diversity and discover your artistic potential.

Our classwork will be organized in our Google Classroom and grades will be in Genesis.
Averages will be calculated as follows:
70% Project Grades
30% Daily Grades
