    Dear parents:

     

         Welcome back to another exciting year at Tenafly Middle School! 
    I am writing to introduce myself as your child's academic support teacher this year.

         As a member of the seventh grade instructional staff, I will be co-teaching with your child's mainstream teachers. For those students enrolled in the Study Skills course, instruction will reinforce the concepts studied in the content areas as well as emphasize the skills for academic success.

         I believe in educating the "whole child" academically, emotionally and socially, as well as helping to instill self-confidence in each of my students. By all accounts, TMS is a warm and progressive community of learning. I consider it a privilege to serve its students.

I am committed to keeping the lines of communication between school and home open.
